Intended use:
For in vitro diagnostic use. The RIDA®UNITY Viral Stool Panel IV test, performed automatically or manually, is a multiplex real-time RT-PCR for the direct qualitative detection and differentiation of
– Norovirus GI/GII RNA
– Enterovirus RNA
– Sapovirus RNA
in human stool samples from persons with signs and symptoms of acute gastroenteritis.
The RIDA®UNITY Viral Stool Panel IV test is intended to support the differential diagnosis of viral infections (norovirus GI/GII, enterovirus and sapovirus) in patients with symptoms of gastroenteritis in connection with other clinical and laboratory findings.
Negative results do not rule out infection with norovirus GI/GII, enterovirus or sapovirus, and should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis.
The product is intended for professional use.
