Intended use:
For in vitro diagnostics. The RIDA®UNITY Parasitic Stool Panel II test, performed automatically or manually, is a multiplex real-time PCR for the direct qualitative detection of Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium spp., and Entamoeba histolytica DNA in human stool samples from persons with signs and symptoms of acute gastrointestinal infection.
The RIDA®UNITY Parasitic Stool Panel II test is intended to support the diagnosis of parasite infections (Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium spp., and Entamoeba histolytica) in patients with symptoms of a gastrointestinal infection, in connection with other clinical and laboratory findings.
Negative results do not rule out a parasite infection (Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium spp., and Entamoeba histolytica) and should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis.
The product is intended for professional use.
